About the role
WAIS is seeking a Sports Physiotherapist to join our Performance Support team.
This role supports athletes to achieve their performance goals by preventing, treating and rehabilitating sports injuries within a high-performance environment. Working closely with athletes, coaches and fellow performance support practitioners, you'll contribute to athlete development while promoting health, wellbeing and sustainable performance.
This is a full-time maximum-term opportunity through to 31 December 2028, with the potential for extension.

Since 1984, WAIS has supported Western Australian athletes to achieve success at national and international levels, including Olympic, Paralympic and World Championship competition.

About the Role
As a Sports Physiotherapist, you will work directly with athletes across the swimming program, helping them stay healthy and perform at their best through evidence based physiotherapy support. Working within an interdisciplinary performance support model, you will contribute to injury prevention initiatives, rehabilitation programs and return-to-performance planning.
You will collaborate closely with coaches, strength and conditioning practitioners and other performance support staff to deliver integrated, athlete-centred care that aligns with program objectives and WAIS's Win Well philosophy.

You are a qualified physiotherapist who is passionate about supporting athletes in high-performance environments. You combine strong clinical expertise with excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to working collaboratively with others.
