About the role

Calce Company is seeking a passionate and customer-focused Retail Sales Specialist to join our team in Arundel, QLD, We will soon be moving to Stapylton towards the end of 2026. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales performance across our retail operations. As a Retail Sales Specialist, you will be the face of our brand, creating memorable shopping experiences whilst achieving sales targets and building lasting customer relationships. This position offers the opportunity to develop your retail expertise within a dynamic and supportive environment.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting customers warmly and providing knowledgeable product recommendations tailored to individual needs

• Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems

• Maintaining an in-depth understanding of product features, benefits and pricing to address customer inquiries

• Meeting and exceeding personal and team sales targets through proactive engagement and suggestive selling

• Keeping the sales floor neat, organised and visually appealing through regular merchandising and stock rotation

• Assisting with inventory management, stock checks and notifying management of low stock levels

• Handling customer complaints and enquiries professionally, seeking appropriate resolutions

• Collaborating with team members to create a positive and productive work environment

• Supporting promotional activities and implementing point-of-sale displays

• Adhering to company policies, procedures and health and safety standards

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working in a retail environment, preferably in a sales-focused role

• Excellent customer service skills with a genuine passion for helping customers

• Strong communication abilities and the capacity to build rapport with diverse clientele

• Numeracy skills and comfort with using technology and point-of-sale systems

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and handle stock

• Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude

• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and peak trading periods as required

• A positive mindset and willingness to learn and develop within the role

• Preferred experience in the consumer products or retail sector
