Test Analyst – Mobile, Cloud and IoT (Manual and Automation)

About the role

A Test Analyst – Manual and Automated Tester responsible for conducting a range of testing activities including development and execution of acceptance, functional, integration and regression testing. You will analyse product requirements and specifications to create corresponding test plans consistent with test strategy and objectives, and conduct testing across cloud services, consumer electronics devices, mobile apps and third-party interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct a range of testing activities including development and execution of acceptance, functional, integration and regression testing
• Analyse product Requirements and Specifications and create corresponding test plans consistent with test strategy and objectives
• Instil the necessary system, processes, methods and resources to reliably deliver quality solutions
• Conduct testing across cloud services, consumer electronics devices, mobile apps and third-party interfaces
• Perform manual and automated testing including user acceptance, integration, regression, performance and interoperability testing
• Clearly isolate, define issues and propose possible resolutions with key stakeholders
• Ensure the defect log is well maintained and appropriately prioritised
• Track quality progress according to development plan and see it through to final market releases
• Provide reports on progress, anomalies, risks and issues associated with projects
• Appropriately communicate, plan and coordinate with key stakeholders

About you

• Test analyst with at least 4+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in testing iOS and Android Apps AND/OR microservices AND/OR Firmware validation
• Relevant tertiary qualifications
• Strong demonstrated knowledge and experience in testing analysis techniques, processes, and methodologies including software test tools
• Experience with delivering test artefacts including acceptance test criteria, test plans, test cases and test summary reporting
• Demonstrated experience testing within an Agile-Scrum development environment
• Be able to work effectively in a Lean environment autonomously and drive constant improvements in product quality
• Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience with Consumer Electronics products that incorporate cloud, devices, and mobile apps is highly regarded
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, TestFlight, Crashlytics, New Relic, Selenium, LoadRunner is highly regarded
