Job Description

Hitec Drainage is seeking an experienced Sydney Water Accredited Sewer & Water Plumber to join our team delivering civil drainage and infrastructure projects across Sydney.

We are looking for a skilled and reliable person with demonstrated experience in Sydney Water sewer and water projects, who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and understands the importance of compliance, safety, and project requirements.

The successful applicant will work on a range of sewer and water construction projects, completing works in accordance with Sydney Water standards and Hitec Drainage’s high-quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out sewer and water installation, repairs, and associated civil drainage works

• Complete Sydney Water works in accordance with approved standards and requirements

• Read and interpret plans, drawings, and project documentation

• Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard

• Work collaboratively with project teams and operators

• Maintain quality workmanship and comply with site safety requirements

Essential Requirements

• Current Sydney Water Accredited Sewer & Water qualification/ticket

• Proven experience working on Sydney Water projects

• Strong knowledge of sewer and water infrastructure works

• Experience within civil drainage or civil construction environments

• White Card

• Current NSW Driver Licence

• Ability to work independently and as part of a professional team

Desirable

• Experience with Sydney Water inspections, testing, and quality requirements

• Civil construction experience

• Relevant plant tickets (excavator, loader, etc.)

• Additional industry licences or qualifications
