About the role
Job no: 541557
Work type: Full Time
Location: Sydney, NSW
Categories: Senior Lecturer
Senior Research Fellow (Implementation Science)
The Team
Prof Natalie Taylor spearheads Implementation to Impact (i2i), where the focus is on applying implementation science to bridge the gap between evidence and practice. Our mission is to ensure that the latest research and evidence-based practices are integrated into real-world settings and have a positive impact on people’s lives. At our core, we believe that everyone deserves access to high-quality, evidence-based care. However, there is often a gap between what we know works and what is implemented in practice. This is where implementation science is crucial. By using rigorous methods to understand the barriers and facilitators to implementing evidence-based practices, we can develop strategies to promote their adoption and sustainment in real-world settings.
About this role
The Senior Research Fellow will play a leadership role within the Implementation to Impact (i2i) program, contributing to the design, delivery, and growth of a nationally recognised implementation science research program. The position will provide technical and research leadership in implementation science, playing a key role in the design, delivery and management of a portfolio of research projects within the Implementation to Impact program, School of Population Health.
Working closely with Professor Natalie Taylor and the broader i2i leadership team, the successful candidate will contribute to advancing implementation science methods while helping translate research evidence into meaningful improvements in policy, practice and population outcomes.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work within Australia's largest dedicated implementation science research group and contribute to high-impact projects spanning cancer, genomics, child health, chronic disease, mental health, health services and health system improvement.
