(Local/WA FIFO) Machine Operator

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. In this role, you will operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently while supporting the daily operations of our yard. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your expertise, learn new skills, and collaborate with a dedicated team.

Job Details

• Type: Full-Time

• FIFO Schedule: 14 days on (Days only), 7 days off

• Local Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM, weekend work as required

• Place of work: Predominantly Remote Mine sites within the Pilbara region of W.A.   

Your Qualifications

• Experience operating excavators and/or material handlers

• Understanding of various heavy equipment's operational characteristics

• Knowledge of maintenance requirements for heavy equipment

• Proven track record in performing skilled construction and maintenance tasks

• Experience with manual handling

• Forklift license advantageous but not essential

• Ability to interpret and work from nests

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

• Mechanical aptitude

• Fitness for work (including clear Drug and Alcohol Screens)

• Right to work in Australia

• Ability to pass a Police Check
