The Role

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Full-Time Passive Fire Spray Specialist with 2+ years' experience in a similar role. Your knowledge and experience within the specialised Passive Fire sector will see you working on a variety of small and large-scale worksites across greater Melbourne. You will be detail oriented to ensure application is consistent and as required to adequately protect the required structures.

In this role you will be part of a well-established, cooperative, and cohesive team.

Primary duties: 

·         Various applications of vermiculite fire spray to structural steel and mechanical ducting 

·         Masking up to protect overspray  

·         Installing wire mesh to mechanical ducting 

·         Interpret various construction drawings 

·         Ability to interact with sub-contractors and builder’s site management 

·         Occasional assistance with fire rated board installation and fire stopping of penetrations may be required

Essential Requirements: 

·         White Card 

·         Scissor lift ticket 

·         Current Working with Children's Check 

·         Proficiency with a range of power tools  

Additional Preferred Requirements:

·         Boom lift ticket 

·         Experience in the wider passive fire sector

·         Trade experience: e.g. Carpentry, Plastering or Painting
