About The Role
We're looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to provide clinical leadership and hands-on nursing care to NDIS participants with complex health needs. Working on the ground alongside our support worker teams, you'll get to know the people you support and play a genuine part in improving their quality of life.
This role suits a nurse who wants more autonomy in how they work, real relationships with participants, and the satisfaction of making a tangible difference every day.
What You'll Do
Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop individualised care plans Train staff in and oversee medication management Provide clinical supervision and support to support workers and the wider team Monitor participants' health status and report changes to the medical team Support the onboarding of new participants and review care plans as needs change Identify, investigate and manage clinical incidents in line with policy and do NDIS reporting where required Liaise with participants' medical teams, families and other stakeholders Travel to SIL, SDA and participant homes to deliver hands-on care Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and NDIS reporting
Requirements
Nursing qualification with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Sound understanding of NDIS requirements and managing complex health needs Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with participants, families and team members Current First Aid and CPR certification Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle Yellow Card, Blue Card and Police Clearance Flexibility to work hours that meet participant needs
