Morcare Services are looking for support workers to join the team and work for our clients based in our local area! We are based on Wantirna, and have clients seeking supports in Croydon, Kilsyth and Ferntree Gully.

Shift Locations: Wantirna, and have clients seeking supports in Croydon, Kilsyth, Ferntree Gully and surrounding areas.

Shift Times:       
We have a variety of weekday and weekend shifts to suit most availabilities and work loads.

Our dedicated Rostering Team will look at your availability, and the shifts we have available and fulfil a roster to suit your needs! 

What You'll Do:
As a Support Worker with Morcare, you will assist clients with the following tasks:

• Community Access - assisting clients out in the community such as Shopping assistance, going to the Cafe, Gym Programs, Hydrotherapy and day programs
• Domestic duties - maintaining household cleanliness, vacuuming, mopping and laundry.
• Personal care activities including showering, dressing and toileting
• Supporting clients within their own homes and out in the community
• Meal assistance and preparation and more.

Your Requirements:

• NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance (or willingness to obtain)
• Current and valid Level 2 First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certificates
• Certificate III or IV in Disability or Aged Care, or equivalent industry experience (preferred but not essential)
• Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• Smartphone compatible with our rostering app (Apple App Store or Google Play Store)
• Own vehicle and full comprehensive car insurance
• International Police Check (or willingness to obtain) if you have lived overseas for 12+ months in the last 10 years
• Proof of work entitlement (if applicable)
• Two professional employment references
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Reliable and punctual
• Caring nature and ability to understand and respond to client needs
