The role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Legal Executive Assistant to join our Brisbane Dispute Resolution team. This is a full-time, 12 month fixed-term contract role, with the opportunity to transition to a permanent position. Supporting a collaborative and high-performing team, you'll play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Proactive diary and inbox management
• Coordinating meetings and travel
• Liaising with clients and internal stakeholders to build strong working relationships
• Drafting correspondence and assisting with document preparation and amendments
• Matter and file management, including opening and closing matters and maintaining electronic filing systems
• Preparing monthly bills, client reports and processing invoices
• Reconciliation of corporate expenses
• General administrative and ad hoc support

What you'll bring

The successful candidate will have legal secretarial experience and demonstrate:

• 2+ years' experience as a Legal Executive Assistant, ideally within a litigation or dispute resolution environment
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• An understanding of billing and financial administration processes
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• A proactive and collaborative approach with a willingness to support colleagues across the broader team
• Strong communication skills
