This is a beautiful small 28 place service. We have local and dedicated staff and the families are warm and engaging. We are family operated and value our team and want them to feel at home. This is not a centre you will be lost in and will get to know all the families and valued team members.

You will be well supported by the director of the service and additional department training.

About you:

• Ideal for a dedicated and responsible team member who has led a room and is ready to step into management.

• Must be working towards or have your ECT.

• Current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC).

• Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and Child Protection legislation.

• Leadership experience or a strong desire to grow into a leadership role within the ECEC industry.

• A collaborative, positive, and supportive leadership style.

• On the floor role which involves supporting and mentoring staff.

What you'll do

• Support the Centre Director in the day-to-day leadership and operations of the service including being the nominated supervisor.

• Manage the roster for team members (most are part time and we have regular pool or local casual team members).

• Manage and update the program and team member duties and tasks.

• Lead, mentor, and inspire educators to deliver high-quality education and care by leading by example.

• Build strong partnerships with families and the local community.

• Support compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and National Regulations.

• Contribute to curriculum planning, reflective practice, and continuous improvement.

• Step into the Centre Director role when required.
