About the Role

We are looking for casual Kitchen Hands to join us at The Boathouse Patonga Hotel. As a Kitchen Hand you’ll play an important role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly, supporting our chefs and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation. You will:

• Wash dishes, cookware and kitchen equipment

• Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, benches and equipment

• Assist chefs with basic food preparation;

• Ensure stock and equipment are stored correctly;

• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards;

• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods;

• Complete general cleaning and kitchen duties as required.

About You

To be the perfect addition to The Boathouse Group, you will be hard working, reliable and enthusiastic about getting the job done. You will also:

• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment;

• A positive attitude and strong team spirit;

• Good attention to detail and cleanliness;

• Available to work a range of shifts, including weekends and nights;

• Previous hospitality or kitchen experience is preferred, but not essential
