Job Description

At Munro Footwear Group (MFG), we're passionate about creating exceptional experiences for our customers, our people, and our communities. We are currently seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our People Experience team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

Reporting to the Head of People Experience, you'll play a pivotal role in partnering with leaders across a dedicated client group, providing trusted advice, coaching, and strategic people support. You'll help shape organisational capability, lead change initiatives, manage complex employee relations matters, and contribute to key people programs that drive business performance and engagement.

This is an exciting opportunity to influence people outcomes in a dynamic national retail business, while working closely with leaders to build high-performing teams and an exceptional employee experience.

About The Role

As a trusted HRBP, you will:

Partner with leaders to deliver strategic and operational people solutions aligned to business objectivesCoach and support leaders across performance management, talent development, employee engagement, capability building, and workforce planningLead organisational design and change initiatives, including restructures, consultation processes, and implementation activitiesManage complex employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary processes, grievances, and performance managementProvide practical advice on employment legislation, enterprise agreements, and people policiesSupport remuneration and reward processes, ensuring consistency and alignment with organisational frameworksAnalyse people data and insights to identify trends, inform decision-making, and drive continuous improvement initiativesContribute to the delivery of key People Experience projects

About You

Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, People Partner, or People ManagerPrevious experience within a retail or multi-site environment (essential) Strong employee relations expertise, including investigations, performance management, and complex case managementSound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and industrial relations frameworksExceptional stakeholder management, coaching, and influencing skillsDemonstrated experience supporting organisational change and transformation initiativesThe ability to manage competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environmentA tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related discipline (preferred)
