We are seeking an experienced and passionate People & Culture Manager to lead and develop our People & Culture function during an exciting period of growth.
This is a newly created role, and an opportunity to build and lead the HR function. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this highly influential role will partner closely with operational leaders to drive employee engagement, recruitment, retention, leadership capability, wellbeing initiatives and organisational culture across multiple locations.
You will be both strategic and hands-on, leading initiatives that create a high-performing, values-driven workforce while ensuring exceptional employee experiences throughout the entire employee lifecycle.
This role requires regular travel across greater Melbourne and regional Victoria as well as interstate travel, primarily to New South Wales, with further national travel expected as our footprint continues to grow.
Lead and enhance the People & Culture function.
Drive recruitment, engagement, retention and workforce planning.
Partner with leaders to provide HR advice and support.
Build a positive, high-performing workplace culture.
Deliver People & Culture projects and improvement initiatives.
Ensure HR compliance to support business growth.
Proven People & Culture or HR leadership experience.
Strong expertise across recruitment, employee relations and performance management.
Experience driving employee engagement, retention and workforce planning.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication and relationship-building skills.
Solid knowledge of Fair Work legislation and HR best practice.
Proven ability to influence leaders, manage projects and support multi-site operations.
