About the Role
This exciting opportunity exists at Thomas Foods International – Murray Bridge, located in Murray Bridge. The Murray Bridge facility is one of Australia’s leading beef processing plants, supplying premium beef products to domestic and international markets.
The Beef Offal Supervisor will manage the Offal Department within the Beef Division and is responsible for overseeing production to ensure all processes are followed in accordance with the Quality Management System, company QA procedures, and DAWR requirements. The role ensures production targets are achieved, yields are maintained, and all activities are carried out in line with WHS management system requirements.

To be successful in this role, applicants must have:
Experience in the meat or food processing industry (beef processing preferred)
Ability to run and maintain operational requirements of a Beef Offal department
Strong leadership and communication skills
Sound knowledge of QA, WHS and production processes
Key Responsibilities
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
Complete safety checks and report hazards
Manage department employees and daily workflow
Provide daily production reports to the Senior Supervisor
Control operating costs
Ensure all yields are met and maintained; ensure dressing standards are acceptable
Maintain production targets
Ensure training and skill levels are maintained to cover all positions
Program additional cleaning as required
Conduct random locker and boot inspections
Complete maintenance request forms
Attend weekly QA and Supervisor meetings
Conduct daily process control with QA
Supervise and engage departmental employees to ensure tasks are completed safely
Complete customer complaint records within required timeframes
