Recycling Picker/Yard Hand

Working within our Gillman Recycling Crushing Facility, you will be responsible sorting and processing steel and waste materials the conveyor line, while maintaining a high standard of safety and site compliance.

Day to day duties include:

• Sorting recycled steel and metal products from a conveyor system

• Identifying and separating materials safely and efficiently

• General manual handling duties

• Assisting with site cleanliness and maintaining a safe work environment

• Working collaboratively with the team to meet production targets

The successful candidates will have:

• Previous experience in a labouring, recycling, or industrial environment (preferred)

• High Risk Forklift License (preferred)

• Strong safety focus and awareness

• Ability to perform repetitive manual handling tasks

• Reliable transport and strong attendance record

• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team

• Full working rights in Australia

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening

Shift Times:
Day Shift

• Monday to Friday: 6:00am – 4:00pm

• Overtime available as required (Including Saturdays)
