About La Tosca Foods

La Tosca Foods is a proudly Australian, family-owned food manufacturer with a strong Italian heritage. We produce a range of fresh pasta, gnocchi and Italian food products sold through major supermarkets, independent retailers and food service customers.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing Brand Ambassador to represent La Tosca Foods at supermarkets and retail locations across Melbourne.

About the Role

As a Brand Ambassador, you will be the face of La Tosca Foods in-store, introducing customers to our products through product sampling, cooking demonstrations and friendly customer engagement.

This is a casual/part-time opportunity, generally involving 2 shifts per week, approximately 4 hours per shift, with potential for additional shifts as our sampling program grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-store product tastings and demonstrations
• Prepare and serve La Tosca products for customers to sample
• Engage with shoppers and confidently introduce them to our products
• Explain product features, benefits and cooking ideas
• Encourage customers to try and purchase La Tosca products
• Create a positive and engaging experience for customers
• Maintain a clean, tidy and professional sampling area
• Represent the La Tosca brand professionally at all times
• Provide feedback on customer reactions and product performance
• Complete simple reporting following each demonstration

About You

The ideal candidate will be:

• Friendly, energetic and confident
• Comfortable approaching and talking to customers
• Passionate about food and cooking
• Well presented and professional
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work independently
• Comfortable working in a busy retail environment
• Available for approximately 2 shifts per week
• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, promotions, events or customer service is preferred but not essential
