About the role
Penrith Women's Health Centre seeks Allied Health Professionals to work from our centre in the heart of Penrith. Services focus on empowering and strengthening women's overall health and wellbeing. Allied health services support the needs of clients who may experience chronic pain or chronic disease as well as those who seek to improve their personal wellbeing through self-care activities. The allied health practitioner works in an appointment-based fee for service system. Monday to Friday engagement only.
Key responsibilities
Support women experiencing chronic pain or illness
Support improved mental health and wellbeing in women who have experienced trauma, domestic and family violence or social disadvantage
Support clients to improve health literacy and make informed health choices
Work through an inclusive, client-centred, trauma-informed, culturally appropriate model of care
About you
Experienced Allied Health Professional such as physiotherapist, naturopath, homeopath

PWHC is a Women's Health Centre, run by women for women. We have been supporting women in the Penrith community since 1987. PWHC has recently relocated to new premises in the heart of Penrith where clients can access a range of health and wellbeing services in a fresh, safe, inviting and empowering environment. The site has easy access to all-day parking, shopping and public transport. Our services focus on empowering and strengthening women's overall health and wellbeing. Our health practitioners practice is evidence based and focuses on improving our client's health literacy, whilst offering support to allow clients to make informed healthcare choices.
