Commercial/IP lawyer - 5+ years PQE

The Firm
Our client is a well-established independent Sydney firm with a strong reputation for doing quality work for Australian and international clients. It's the sort of environment where you can be close to the Partners, have meaningful client contact and take ownership of your work without the layers and bureaucracy that can come with a larger firm. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to add an experienced commercial lawyer with experience in IP.

The role
In this role, you'll work closely with Partners across a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including acquisitions and disposals, shareholder agreements, restructurings, corporate advisory, and broader commercial work.  There is also a strong IP component, making this an interesting opportunity for a commercial lawyer who enjoys IP and is keen to develop further in this area.  You'll work with clients across a range of industries and will have the opportunity to take responsibility for matters, as well as mentoring junior members of the team.

About you
You'll be an experienced commercial lawyer with a minimum of 5 years PQE acquired in private practice. It could be you are at a smaller firm and ready for a step up, or perhaps you're looking for greater ownership of your work and a clear progression path?
