Account Executive SME

As an Account Executive within the SME team, you'll play a key role supporting the management of a portfolio of SME clients. Ideal for an experienced Internal Broker or Senior Assistant, you'll manage renewals, endorsements, policy administration, and client enquiries while building strong relationships with clients and insurer partners.

• Manage a portfolio of SME clients alongside the wider broking team.
• Prepare renewals, endorsements, quotations, and policy documentation.
• Liaise with clients, insurers, and underwriters to deliver timely insurance solutions.
• Provide high-quality advice and support throughout the policy lifecycle.
• Respond to client enquiries and assist with day-to-day account management.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with industry requirements.
• Work closely with the Head of the SME team and experienced Account Managers to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both clients and insurer partners.

This role is suitable for an experienced Senior Supporting broker or Internal Account Executive who is looking for a more manageable workload in a healthy, collaborative, supportive team environment. You can continue at this level or go on to progress to Account Manager if you so desire. 

• Previous experience in an Internal Broker/ Senior Broker Assistant in General Insurance broking. 
• Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification essential. 
• Strong knowledge of SME commercial insurance products.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building skills and a willingness to connect with clients over the phone
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Confident working directly with clients and insurers.

• Competitive salary of $90,000–$110,000 + Super.
