Essential Services Technician

The Role

Reporting to the Essential Services Manager and based in Darra (Brisbane), you will be responsible for delivering essential services maintenance and repairs across the business and working alongside Service Teams in the successful and timely delivery of services.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

• Perform pre-work checks and complete check-sheets
• Conduct maintenance and repairs on essential service equipment
• Perform inspections and tests to ensure compliance with safety standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly and effectively
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any deficiencies
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate work and meet deadlines.

About You

You will demonstrate your experience in HVAC service, an understanding of the challenges of working in a dynamic and fast-growing business, and the following attributes:

• Relevant Trade qualification (Air Conditioning or Electrical, dual trade desired)
• Experience in routine maintenance (quarterly and annual) testing of smoke management systems (Including Stairwell Pressurisation systems, Smoke Exhaust Systems, Zone Pressure Systems and Purge Systems, shutdown systems)
• Experience in Commissioning of Smoke Management Systems
• Thorough understanding of AS1851-2012 Section 13
• Reasonable understanding of AS1668.1
• Exceptional communication skills
• Exceptional customer service skills (including providing quotations to customers to assist in issue resolution)
• Collaborative
• Exceptional time management
