About The Role

Our Melbourne Indirect Tax team is growing and we are looking to hire talented professionals across various levels, whether you’re early in your career or an experienced Manager seeking a fresh challenge.

Across these opportunities, you’ll work on a broad mix of indirect tax advisory, compliance and consulting matters, supporting clients across a range of industries and gaining exposure to meaningful, high-impact work

Depending On Your Experience, You Will

Provide practical, commercial indirect tax advice to clients, across GST, stamp duty, fuel tax credits, customs and excise (note, experience across all areas is not required)Assist with the delivery of tax governance engagementsResearch legislation, case law and regulatory guidanceBuild and manage client relationships and engagementsSupport the implementation of AI and automation tools to assist in the delivery of client deliverablesSupport or lead client deliverables, budgets and timelinesIdentify opportunities to add value to clients’ businessesContribute to team development, mentoring junior staff (Senior Analyst / Manager level)Play a role in business development and internal training initiatives

About You

You Will Bring

Experience in indirect tax or a related role within professional servicesStrong analytical skills and attention to detailA degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or similarA proactive mindset and eagerness to learnAbility to manage client relationships and deliver outcomesStrong communication skills and commercial acumenExperience mentoring or leading team members is desirableCA/CPA qualification (or working towards / completed)
