About You

The successful applicant will join the TAS team, 2 days per week, 22 hours per fortnight (9am - 3.00pm).

The role requires:

• preparing materials, equipment and teaching resources for practical classes
• maintaining safe, clean and organised workshop and kitchen environments
• managing stock levels, conducting stocktakes and coordinating the ordering of consumables and equipment
• maintaining and servicing workshop tools, machinery, dust extraction systems and specialist TAS equipment
• monitoring the safe operation of workshop equipment, identifying hazards and removing faulty machinery from service where required
• supporting the TAS Leader of Learning in ensuring all workshops operate in accordance with Work Health and Safety legislation, standards and College procedures.
