Customer Sales Representative

About the role

Thomas Parker is looking for a highly self-motivated, self-driven Customer Sales Representative to join their team at their locally owned Invermay Showroom. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for an energetic individual with a positive outlook who can accept challenges with enthusiasm.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with clients, identify their needs and exceed sales expectations

• Provide exceptional customer service and represent the company in a professional manner

• Build and maintain customer relationships through excellent communication (verbal and written)

• Liaise with management and accomplish assigned duties

• Provide quality stock control

• Assist with store displays

• General maintenance

• Work effectively in a team environment or unsupervised

About you

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

• Willingness to learn new skills

• Strong organisation skills

• Ability to work in a team environment

• A technical or trade background with knowledge of bearings and associated products is highly regarded

• Limited sales experience is acceptable as training will be provided with ongoing support

With over 30 years of experience in the automotive and industrial supplies field, Thomas Parker stocks and supplies a large range of industrial supplies including nuts & bolts, bearings and associated products, v belts, rubber sheet and extrusions, trailer hardware, tools, automotive & industrial paint and workshop equipment.

The successful applicant will be provided with an above award salary package depending on prior experience and negotiated on succession of the position.
