Speech Pathologist, NSW - Port Macquarie

This is a Part-time opportunity (3 days per week) building our speech pathology services. This role will report directly to a Team Lead - Greater Australia and will work onsite at our Port Macquarie site.

 You’ll make a difference in this role by:

• Providing evidence-based assessment, intervention supports and other clinically appropriate strategies to assist client/family to achieve outcomes.
• Delivering services in person, via telepractice in a NextSense centre, client home, school or other appropriate setting.
• Developing, delivering and evaluating Individual Support Plans (ISP) that reflect the individual’s strengths and needs and the family’s priorities.
• Using a person/family centred framework when providing services.
• Participating in and providing clinical supervision to other team members.

About You

Essential:

• Bachelor in Speech Pathology or equivalent
• Practicing member of Speech Pathology Australia
• Minimum of 1 year experience in providing speech pathology services
• Sound clinical skills and knowledge
• Collaborative contributor to client outcomes as a member of a multidisciplinary team
• Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle (re-imbursement for kms travelled)
• Working With Children Check
• NDIS Worker Check

Desirable: 

• Prior experience in working with clients with a sensory disability
• Working knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) framework
• Ability to learn new systems, processes and frameworks
