The Island Elizabeth Quay is on the lookout for an energetic, hands-on Assistant Venue Manager to join our team at one of Perth’s most iconic waterfront hospitality venues.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves great hospitality, and is eager to grow in venue operations.

About The Island - Located in the heart of Elizabeth Quay, The Island is known for its vibrant atmosphere, stunning waterfront views, quality food and drinks, and unforgettable events. From casual dining and weekend sessions to large-scale functions and corporate events, no two days are the same.

The Role - Working closely with the Venue Manager and leadership team, you’ll help oversee the day-to-day operations of the venue.

We’re looking for someone who leads from the front, communicates confidently, and is just as comfortable behind the bar as they are managing a busy floor.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within hospitality
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Bar trained with solid beverage knowledge
• A hands-on approach and positive attitude
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and public holidays
• Current RSA and Approved Manager’s Certificate
