VR General Practitioners – Urgent Care Cairns North UCC

We are currently seeking VR General Practitioners to join our Cairns North Urgent Care Centre.
Our service has been open since March and operates 8:00am–10:00pm, offering a consistent and well-supported urgent care environment within a large, purpose-built medical hub.

We offer ongoing rostered shifts as well as flexible casual and ad hoc opportunities.

What We Offer

• Competitive hourly rate starting from $250 per hour Please find the updated Urgent Care Centre (UCC) rate structure below:
  
  • Monday–Friday (before 6pm): $250/hr
  • Monday–Friday (after 6pm): $275/hr
  • Weekends: $300/hr
  • Public Holidays: $325/hr
• Flexible shifts – choose full or half shifts
• We are also able to offer relocation support and lump sum assistance for suitable candidates.

  • Urgent Care Centre
  • Onsite General Practice
  • Pharmacy
• Strong onsite support including management, nursing, administration, and parking
• Collegial, multidisciplinary team with a patient-centred focus 

Essential Criteria

• Fellowship with RACGP (FRACGP/FARGP) or ACRRM (FACRRM)
• Unrestricted AHPRA registration
• Interest in urgent care
