Client Services Engagement Officer

The Small Animal Specialist Hospital (SASH) is the largest Veterinary hospital in the Southern Hemisphere offering referral services across four Sydney locations. At SASH, our team are committed to providing exceptional care and services to pets, their families, and the veterinary community.  

SASH North Ryde provides 24/7 emergency and specialist veterinary care for pets across Sydney. Our flagship facility is Australia’s largest and most advanced emergency and specialist animal hospital offering expert multidisciplinary veterinary care.

Our Client Services Team is now seeking a Client Services Engagement Officer to join us in a full time capacity, working Monday to Friday between 10am - 6pm. 

About the Role: 

This role focuses on promoting the value of SASH to clients seeking our specialist care at North Ryde.
You will be a key point of contact for pet families reaching out to SASH for the first time. You'll help guide them through their journey – from first enquiry to confirmed appointment – all while showcasing the care and excellence that sets SASH apart.

• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls with empathy and professionalism.
• Proactively support service growth by turning enquiries into appointments, showcasing SASH’s values and services in every interaction.
• Act as the vital link between clients and the clinical team, ensuring expectations are managed with clarity and care.
• Process insurance claims and payments over the phone with accuracy and efficiency.
• Create a positive, connected experience that reflects our commitment to excellence in client care.

About You:

We are looking for someone who is a positive and motivated team player, with a ‘can do’ attitude, who can bring an engaging energy to the role.
You will thrive in fast-paced environments and have the confidence and tenacity to promote the value of SASH.

• Experience in a contact centre or high-volume customer service role
• Sales acumen – you know how to turn interest into action
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Empathy and emotional resilience under pressure
• Desirable: Familiarity with EzyVet or medical/veterinary knowledge
