We are looking for a Citrix specialist consultant to own an enterprise CVAD upgrade — 2203 LTSR CU3 through to 2402 LTSR CU4, including a licensing migration to Citrix Cloud. It's a defined, technical piece of work: solid engineering, clear documentation, and a clean handover at the end. You'll work directly with the infrastructure team, on modern Citrix Cloud tooling, with flexibility on how you structure your time, within a defined, technical project with a clear scope and end date.
What you'll doUpgrade CVAD from 2203 LTSR CU3 → CU7, then CU7 → 2402 LTSR CU4Plan and execute upgrades across Licensing, Delivery Controllers, PVS, StoreFront, Studio, Director, and Session RecordingUpgrade and validate master images across three Delivery GroupsMigrate Citrix Licensing to Citrix Cloud's Licensing Administration Service (LAS), including issue resolution during cutoverTest, validate, and troubleshoot post-upgradeDocument the implementation and rollback approach, and run knowledge transfer with the internal ops team
What you'll bringReal-world experience delivering Citrix LTSR upgrades in production enterprise environmentsWorking knowledge of Citrix Cloud services, including LASPractical experience across PVS, StoreFront, Delivery Controllers, Studio, Director, Session Recording, and LicensingWindows Server administration and infrastructure troubleshootingComfort managing upgrades in live environments with minimal disruptionCitrix Cloud migration or hybrid Citrix experienceBackground in regulated or large enterprise settingsExposure to VMware, Hyper-V, or cloud-hosted VDI
