We are currently seeking a detail-oriented, highly organised Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable (AR/AP) Officer to join our busy dealership finance team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for numbers, we want to hear from you!

Position Overview

In this dual-capacity role, you will manage both the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions for our dealership operations. You will play a vital role in ensuring financial accuracy, processing manufacturer and vendor invoices, handling customer billing, intercompany transactions, year-end audit procedures, reconciling end-of-month accounts and other ad hoc tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable (AP): Process high-volume supplier and manufacturer invoices, match purchase orders, reconcile creditor statements, and prepare weekly/monthly payment runs.

• Accounts Receivable (AR): Allocate incoming payments, manage debtor accounts, monitor aging credit reports, and conduct professional collections follow-ups.

• Dealership Reconciliations: Reconcile vehicle sales, parts, and service department transactions.

• DMS Maintenance: Ensure all financial data is accurately inputted into our Dealer Management System (DMS).

• Query Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for vendor and customer account discrepancies.

• Month-End Assistance: Assist the Dealership Financial Controller with month-end reporting and closing procedures.

Skills & Qualifications

• Automotive Dealership Experience: Previous experience working within a franchised automotive dealership finance or administration department is highly preferred but not essential.

• System Knowledge: Revolution DMS (Rev DMS) experience is highly desirable but not essential.

• Strong Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data entry and a sharp eye for spotting discrepancies.

• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact professionally with internal managers & colleagues, external vendors, and customers.

• Time Management: Ability to manage competing priorities and meet month-end deadlines.
