About the role 

Reporting to the HR Services Supervisor, the Human Resources Officer role will be an important member of team, providing frontline HR service delivery including lifecycle events, recruitment activities and supporting projects as required. This role focuses on delivering a high-quality customer experience through the HR Services Centre by triaging and responding to enquiries, meeting service levels and promoting effective self service. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate transactional processes of events through Success Factors and delivering accurate outputs.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Deliver responsive, customer focused HR generalist support by triaging enquiries and guiding employees and leaders where required using Success Factors.
• Maintain clear and timely communication with customers throughout the lifecyle of the request 
• Ensure the accurate processing of employee lifecycle transactions including onboarding, movements, changes to terms and conditions, and terminations.
• Maintenance and creation of work instructions to support HRO processes
• Collaboration with key stakeholders including HR Business Partners, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and IT to support seamless HR operations.
• Contribution to the development and delivery of HR reporting, process improvement initiatives, and system enhancements.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• Relevant Tertiary qualifications with a minimum of 2 yrs post Human Resource Officer experience preferably within a service delivery or shared services/operations environment.
• Experience providing generalist HR support across the employee lifecycle.
• Working knowledge of HR policies, procedures and employment legislation, with the ability to interpret and apply guidance appropriately.
• Experience with employee onboarding processes.
• Good MS office experience including HR systems such as Workday or Success Factors is beneficial.
• Experience managing an end to end HR ticketing management system, including prioritisation, investigation/triage, accurate record keeping, stakeholder updates and meeting SLA's
• Good communication, engagement and collaboration skills to liaise with stakeholders across the business at across all levels.
• High attention to detail and sound judgement, aligning to confidentiality principles and ways of working.
• A service delivery or shared services industry environment is ideal but not essential.
• Energetic, self-motivated and resilient in making an impact as a HR officer with the business goals.
