Sales Representative -Plumbing & Piping Industry

JP Piping Systems Pty Ltd is a locally owned and operated company, with a growing branch in Burleigh Heads, Gold Coast. The head office and main warehouse is located in Mackay Nth Qld. 

For over 30 years, we have been servicing the Commercial, Mining, Construction, and Government Sectors throughout Queensland and Australia Wide. JPPS are the North and Central Queensland distributor for Georg Fischer Piping Systems (+GF+) and S/S Pressfit Products.

JP Piping Systems operate Sales, Consulting and Procurement Divisions, specialising in supplying components for Poly Pipelines, Civil, Fire Systems, Compressed Air Systems, Small-Bore Piping, Water Treatment Plants and Sewerage Treatment Plants.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Representative to join our Burleigh Heads team . This role is ideal for someone with Industrial and Mechanical Plumbing Industry experience (not necessarily trade qualified), who enjoys building strong customer relationships, providing technical sales support, and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with trade and retail customers.

• Manage and grow an established sales territory.

• Identify and secure new business opportunities while developing existing customer accounts.

• Provide technical advice and support on plumbing and piping system products.

• Prepare quotations and process sales orders accurately and efficiently.

• Conduct regular customer visits to ensure accounts are serviced proactively.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely responses to customer enquiries.

• Deliver exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.

• Achieve sales targets and contribute to the continued growth of the business.

• Tier 1 Customers

• Large Scale Civil Contractors

• Pursue Local and State Government Tenders

About You

• Plumbing industry experience or strong plumbing product knowledge.

• Previous sales experience, ideally within the plumbing, construction, mining and industrial supply sectors.

• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

• A positive attitude and customer-focused approach.

• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.

• Current driver's licence.
