MIG Welder/ Yard Hand

As we continue to expand, we are seeking hardworking, confident, reliable, and capable individuals to join our team as a Welder/Yard Hand at our Jandakot facility.

The Role:

ALT are looking for full-time, MIG Welder with Yard Hand experience to join our team. In this role, you’ll play an important part in keeping our operations running smoothly and efficiently.

What will your day typical look like?

• Perform MIG & Stick welding tasks as needed to maintain and fabricate components.

• Maintain a safe and organised work environment by assisting with various yard tasks.

• Build flat rack frames to accommodate swimming pools for transport.

• Operate an overhead gantry crane to safely move materials within the yard.

• Assist with the specialised task of loading and unloading swimming pools for transport.

Skills and Experience to be successful in the role:

• Experienced MIG welder with proven skills.

• At least 1 year of experience in yard hand or similar role. (Highly regarded but not mandatory)

• Capable of performing manual tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Overhead Gantry Crane (HRWL -CB) tickets are highly regarded but not mandatory. (Company also provide)

• Hold or willing to obtain Current Forklift Licence

• Reliable team player available Monday to Friday, with flexibility to handle different tasks and hours. Must have reliable transport.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
