About the Company: Alchemy All Metal Fabricators is a Cairns-based fabrication company recognised for delivering high-quality facade and architectural aluminium, stainless steel, and structural steel fabrication projects.

Job Summary: We are expanding our team and are currently seeking Sheet Metal Workers, Fabricators and Boilermakers.

We are also seeking First 2nd or3rd Apprentices So, if you're looking to broaden your skillset, this role is for you!

Apprentice applicants must have a minimum of 6 months experience.

Skills/Experience:

• Trade qualifications and, specific aluminium and stainless steel TIG welding and / or Structural steel capabilities

• Applicants must demonstrate competency in at least one welding type.

• All applicants must demonstrate competency in at least one welding type.

• Previous experience in the construction industry, and the ability to read and interpret construction drawings

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience required for trade-qualified applicants

• Competency in measuring

• Strong knowledge and understanding, and commitment to complying with WHS policies and procedures

• Competency in sheet metal TIG/MIG welding, press work, and working with aluminium and stainless steel is highly regarded

• Façade Architectural industry experience on large projects is highly regarded

• Attention to Detail: Precision and accuracy in all aspects of metal fabrication.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.

• Communication: Clear and effective communication with team members and supervisors.

• Teamwork: Collaborative approach with the ability to work harmoniously with others.

• Time Management: Efficiently manage time to meet deadlines and production schedules.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Current driver's licence

• Current White Card (construction industry)

• Australian citizenship required for this position

• Australian citizenship is required for all positions, including both apprentice and trade-qualified roles
