Why the role?

We have a great opportunity for a Legal Secretary to support our dynamic Perth Office. The successful candidate will be employed on a full-time basis joining our support team.

Duties will vary but you can expect to spend time across the following:

• Drafting court documents, court filing, arranging service of documents
• Client reporting
• Document management (organisation and filing on electronic files)
• Management of billing process, including e-billing
• Entering disbursements and sundry accounts
• Compiling e-briefs to counsel and other experts
• Drafting, editing and despatching letters
• Drafting and submitting relevant Medicare / Centrelink forms
• Arranging medical appointments
• Opening and closing files
• Word processing
• Arranging interstate travel
• Arranging couriers
• You will have access to an administrative assistant for delegated tasks.

Who are you?

The ideal candidate will have:

• Prior experience as a legal secretary is essential
• a strong work ethic
• great organisational skills
• attention to detail
• excellent communication skills
• a genuine desire to support our legal team and clients.
