About the role

You'll be essential in crafting the Tanuki guest experience, from warm welcomes to seamless table service and sharing our exceptional food and drinks. Tanuki is an exciting 160 seat, modern Japanese restaurant and bar located in the heart of Double Bay, featuring a 6 seater sushi counter, a vibrant open kitchen, and a dynamic bar team delivering curated sake, natural wines, and crafted cocktails. The restaurant is open Wednesday to Sunday, including lunch service Friday to Sunday.

Key responsibilities

• Provide warm welcomes and seamless table service to guests

• Share knowledge of exceptional food and drinks with diners

• Work in a fast-paced, dynamic venue environment

About you

• Minimum 2 years experience in the role of Section Waiter

• Experience in fast-paced, dynamic venues

• A team player with strong communication skills and professional presentation

• Valid RSA and full Australian working rights are essential

• Familiarity with Japanese cuisine and sake is a plus
