About the Role

We are seeking skilled Multimedia Designer responsible for creating engaging, high-quality digital and multimedia content across web, graphic design, video, animation, and interactive platforms. The role combines creative design skills with technical expertise to develop digital assets that effectively communicate the organization’s brand, products, services, and key messages.

The Multimedia Designer works across a range of projects, including websites, web pages, social media content, presentations, promotional materials, videos, animations, information displays, interactive applications, and other digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Multimedia & Graphic Design

• Develop digital graphics, banners, presentations, brochures, promotional materials, and other visual assets.
• Produce high-quality images, illustrations, infographics, and layouts.
• Prepare design files for digital and print production.

Web & Digital Design

• Design and update websites, landing pages, and digital interfaces.
• Create engaging and intuitive user experiences.
• Work with web developers and other stakeholders to ensure designs are technically achievable and function effectively.
• Assist with website content updates and CMS management.

Video & Animation

• Plan, film, edit, and produce video content where required.
• Develop motion graphics, animations, transitions, and visual effects.
• Edit audio and video content to meet project requirements and brand standards.

Project Management

• Manage assigned design projects from concept through to completion.
• Develop project timelines and prioritise workloads according to business requirements.
• Communicate project progress, identify potential delays, and manage revisions effectively.
• Maintain organised digital assets, source files, templates, and project documentation.

Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience in multimedia, graphic, web, or digital design.
• Strong understanding of visual design principles, typography, layout, colour, composition, and branding.
• Experience creating multimedia content across multiple digital platforms.
• Experience with website design and content management systems.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or other web technologies is desirable.
• Experience with video editing, animation, and motion graphics.
• Strong understanding of digital user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) principles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Digital Design, Web Design, Visual Communication, or a related discipline.
• Relevant industry experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications.

Software & Technical Skills

Experience with relevant creative and digital tools such as:

• Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
• Figma or other UI/UX design platforms.
• Content Management Systems (CMS).
• Web development and authoring tools.
• Video and audio editing software.
• Digital asset management and file transfer platforms.
