About the role:
Work closely with Partners and clients across a broad range of corporate and commercial matters such as:
- Private mergers and acquisitions, including share and asset sales.
- Business disposals, investments and joint ventures.
- Corporate restructures and reorganisations.
- Shareholders’ agreements, subscription agreements and related transaction documents.
- Due diligence and transaction management.
- Commercial contracts, supply arrangements and service agreements.
- Corporate governance and Corporations Act advice.
The ideal candidate:
- The ability to independently manage transactions and competing deadlines.
- Strong commercial judgement and a practical approach to client advice.
- Confidence dealing directly with senior stakeholders.
- Experience supervising and mentoring junior lawyers.
- Clear communication, drafting and negotiation skills.
