Disability Support Worker - Cranbourne

Pay Rate: $38 – $42.00 per hour (depending on and qualifications minimum Certificate 3 in Individual Support or Certificate 4 in Disability)

• 💰 Great Pay: $38.00 per hour base rate, with up to $42.00 per hour (casual, inclusive of loading) if you hold a relevant Certificate III or higher qualification in Disability, Individual Support, or Community Services.

• Delivering person-centred care and support based on individual needs and support plans.

• Assisting with daily living tasks, personal care, and community access.

• Completing accurate progress notes and documentation after each shift.

• Working respectfully alongside families, health professionals, and internal care teams to achieve great outcomes.

• At least 8 months of experience in disability or community support.

• Experience in both disability and community support is required to demonstrate comprehensive care capabilities.

• Candidates may have experience in either disability support or community support to meet the experience requirements.

• Strong communication skills and a respectful, compassionate approach.

• Flexibility, reliability, and availability across both weekdays and weekends.

• A positive, outgoing attitude and strong sense of responsibility.

All of the following must be completed and provided prior to commencement of employment:

• Current Australian Working Rights

• National Police Check

• Working With Children Check (WWCC)

• Driver's Licence, reliable vehicle, and comprehensive insurance

• NDIS Worker Orientation Module

• New Worker NDIS Induction Modules:

  • Supporting Effective Communication

  • Supporting Safe and Enjoyable Meals

• Infection Control Training

• Current First Aid & CPR Certification

• Certificate III in Individual Support (minimum qualification required for this position)

• Certificate IV in Disability or a higher qualification.
