About Tyndale

Tyndale is a preschool to Year 12 co-educational school located in Blacktown, Sydney. At Tyndale we believe that God has given parents the responsibility for the nurture of their children according to the Word of the Lord. Tyndale is therefore committed to partnering with parents in the Christian education of their children by equipping students to be disciples of Jesus through Christ-centred Biblical education.

About the Role

As a Primary Teacher, you will create a Christ-centred learning environment where students thrive academically and spiritually. You will facilitate deep learning through quality pedagogy, support diverse learners, and collaborate with colleagues to develop engaging curriculum aligned with NESA requirements. You will also provide pastoral care, maintain professional relationships with families, and contribute to the school's Christian mission in all aspects of your work.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and committed teachers to fulfil temporary teaching roles in our Primary School. Positions will suit both new and experienced teachers who are enthusiastic about engaging students in meaningful learning experiences, confident in the use of technology in the classroom, and have a desire to engage in a dynamic staff learning environment where the honing of one's teaching practice is encouraged and facilitated.

Positions Available

Temporary Full-Time Year 5 Class Teacher
Commencing: 9 November 2026
Concluding: 11 December 2026
Five-week appointment during Term 4, 2026

Temporary Full-Time Year 2 Class Teacher
Commencing: 23 November 2026
Concluding: 11 December 2026
Three-week appointment during Term 4, 2026

Temporary Full-Time Primary Class Teacher (2027)
Temporary full-time position for the 2027 school year
Grade allocation to be determined

Essential Criteria

• Christian of a Reformed/Evangelical persuasion, who is an active member of a Reformed/Evangelical church
• Whole-heartedly subscribe to our School's Educational Creed
• Possess NESA Teacher's Accreditation
• Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• Enthusiasm for engaging students in meaningful learning experiences
• Passion for Christian Education
• Confident in the use of technology in the classroom
• Curious and tenacious learner with a passion for motivating students to be likewise
