Medical Practitioner (Contrast Supervision) Opportunities

Canberra Imaging is a leading diagnostic imaging provider and part of the Sonic Healthcare network—one of the world’s largest and most respected healthcare organisations. We operate within a clinician-led model that prioritises high-quality patient care, sustainable growth, disciplined execution, and long-term performance outcomes.
We are currently seeking suitably qualified Medical Practitioners to provide on-site clinical support during the administration of contrast by our radiographers and nuclear medicine technologists. These roles are critical to ensuring safe patient care.
These are casual opportunities, requiring a minimum commitment of two days per week, based across one of our ten sites located throughout the ACT and surrounding NSW regions.
These roles are well suited to medical practitioners undertaking specialist training, or those with an interest in medical imaging who are seeking flexible, casual work within a defined and focused scope of practice.
Key Requirements
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Appropriate professional indemnity insurance
Up to date Anaphylaxis and CPR credentials
