Claims Advisor

What you'll do

• Obtain and review medical, financial, investigative, and rehabilitation reports to support the accurate assessment of individual claims.
• Ensure legislative compliance timeframes are met while conducting ongoing reviews of medical, financial, investigative, and rehabilitation reports.
• Develop and implement appropriate strategies to resolve claims efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Facilitate early access to appropriate rehabilitation services so injured workers can achieve the best possible recovery outcomes.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to legislative authorities, employers, and injured workers through legislative compliance, timely responses, and efficient claim management.

What you'll bring

• Previous Workers Compensation or personal injury claims experience, with a proven track record of delivering results.
• The ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy when supporting customers through challenging circumstances.
• Allied Health experience is highly regarded.
• Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to listen, build rapport, communicate complex information, and negotiate with a variety of stakeholders, including claimants, third-party providers, external bodies, and internal teams.
• Excellent administrative and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage all aspects of a claim within legislative requirements.
• A strong commitment to customer outcomes and a high degree of integrity, helping to meet and exceed customer expectations.
