High Growth Verticals (HGV) Sales Specialist

Position Purpose

BAC Australia is seeking a commercially driven and technically minded High Growth Verticals (HGV) Sales Specialist to support our expansion into some of Australia's fastest-growing industries, including data centres, hydrogen, critical minerals, EV battery manufacturing and industrial process cooling.

Reporting to the High Growth Verticals Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in identifying, developing and converting opportunities across strategic growth markets. Working closely with customers, consultants, contractors, developers and BAC representatives, you will build strong relationships, support major project pursuits and help deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to some of Australia's most significant infrastructure and industrial projects while helping shape the future growth of BAC.

What You Will Bring to the BAC Team

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Experience in technical sales, HVAC, engineered products, industrial equipment, mechanical systems, process cooling or related industries.
• Proven ability to identify opportunities, develop customer relationships and convert sales.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• The ability to communicate technical solutions effectively to customers, consultants and other stakeholders.
• Experience preparing quotations, tenders and technical-commercial proposals.
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive, organised and results-focused approach.
• Experience using CRM systems, SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
• A customer-focused mindset and a passion for delivering value-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop opportunities within high-growth markets.
• Build strong relationships with customers, consultants, contractors and industry stakeholders.
• Manage opportunities from qualification through to quotation, negotiation and project handover.
• Support strategic project pursuits and major infrastructure opportunities.
• Maintain accurate CRM data, forecasting and pipeline reporting.
• Promote BAC's value proposition around sustainability, reliability, performance and lifecycle value.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver outstanding sales execution and customer outcomes.
• Support BAC representatives and sales channels with project strategies and technical-commercial guidance.

Highly Regarded

• Experience within data centres, hydrogen, critical minerals, EV battery manufacturing or industrial process cooling markets.
• Mechanical, engineering, trade, business or related qualifications.
• Existing networks within relevant infrastructure, industrial or emerging technology sectors.
• Experience with cooling towers, evaporative cooling, condensers or heat rejection equipment.
• Experience working with consultants, EPC contractors or major project stakeholders.
