About the role
Work collaboratively within Hospitals South Nursing and Midwifery Education team to support workforce capability, professional development, education, and the delivery of high-quality learning programs that enhance patient care and staff outcomes.
This position works in the dedicated Nursing and Midwifery Education Service with partnership portfolio of Neonatal and Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (NPICU) at the Royal Hobart Hospital, with an expectation of contributing to outcomes across the team, partner portfolio and broader organisation.
The RoleThe Clinical Nurse Educator is accountable for the design, implementation, assessment and evaluation of education programs and providing nursing expertise related to educational issues in meeting the strategic priorities of the Nursing and Midwifery workforce and the Organisation.

Details of appointmentPermanent part time, day worker position, working 64 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as you can join the Team.
Required workdays: Monday to Thursday
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary$118,297 to $125,543 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
Current Working with Children Registration
Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:
Holds, or is currently working towards, postgraduate qualifications in education and/or clinical teaching and learning
Holds, or is currently working towards, postgraduate qualifications in the area of clinical/practice speciality as relevant to the position
