Medland Dental is a locally owned, QIP accrediated dental practice located in Annerley, 10mins south of Brisbane CBD. Established in 1959, owned by Dr Sarah Kam and Dr Fiona Lillicrap. We are a proudly independent practice, unassociated with health funds or dental corporations. The Practice has a large, loyal patient base. We treat all our patients as individuals and provide them with personalised, comprehensive care of the highest quality in a gentle and supportive environment. Available Position:

We are seeking an Experienced Dental Assistant to work in our clinical team between both Dentist and Oral Health Therapist.  This position requires a high level of professional dental assisting skills and organization abilities, there is also a high level of interaction and communication required with our patients, we are strongly focused on offering our patients exceptional service.

Role Overview:

• Assist the dentist and hygienists in keeping to a busy and productive appointment schedule

• Prepare the treatment room and complete changeovers between patients, always maintaining a clean, COVID safe clinical environment.

• Use dental software to its full capacity - we use Exact Dental Program

• Undertake sterilising processes and application of all infection control processes

• Educate patients on dental health issues and answer patient queries

• Build professional and genuine relationships with our patients

• Demonstrate attention to detail

• You can embrace the learning process, even though you will have Dental Assisting experience

• You possess a positive and hard-working attitude 

• A minimum of one year's experience is required. Certificate III in Dental Assisting is preferred.
