Fork Lift Operator

About the role

Gant and Sons Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Fork Lift Operator to join our busy workshop team in Edinburgh, South Australia. This is a full-time position, working in our state-of-the-art distribution centre and playing a key role in supporting our logistics operations.

What you'll be doing

• Safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move goods and materials within the warehouse

• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all forklift operations, including inventory tracking and product movements

• Assisting with the general upkeep and maintenance of the warehouse, including cleaning and organisation of storage areas

• Collaborating with the wider logistics team to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products to our customers

• Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations to maintain a safe and compliant workplace

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a forklift operator, with a valid forklift licence

• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes

• Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
