2nd and 3rd Year Plumbing Apprentice

About the role

Odyssey Plumbing & Drainage (OPD) is looking for motivated 2nd and 3rd Year Plumbing Apprentices to join our team. We believe apprentices should be given the opportunity to learn properly, take on more responsibility as they progress and develop into confident, capable plumbers.

Key responsibilities

• Plumbing rough-ins

• Fit-offs

• Sanitary plumbing and drainage

• Testing and commissioning

• Reading plans and specifications

• Pipework installation and pipefitting

• Using hand and power tools

• QA inspections and checking your own workmanship

About you

• Currently completing 2nd or 3rd Year Plumbing Apprenticeship

• Strong work ethic

• Consistent and punctual attendance

• Take pride in workmanship

• Willing to listen, learn and improve

• Can take direction from plumbers, supervisors and team leaders

• Work well as part of a team

• Willing to take responsibility for work

• Positive attitude

• Understand the importance of workplace safety

Requirements

• Current plumbing apprenticeship

• Construction Industry White Card

• Basic hand tools

• Basic power tools

• Appropriate PPE

• Reliable transport

• Current driver's license preferred
