Cook position – Cook, Support, Step Up at Il Falco

Il Falco is all about flavour, atmosphere, and making people feel at home in the heart of Mount Hawthorn. We’re looking for a Cook who loves Italian food, knows their way around pizza and pasta, and wants to play a key role in a busy, well-run kitchen — without the grind of early mornings or late nights.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys cooking great food, supporting the Head Chef, and helping lead a small, motivated team. You’ll be part of a venue that values quality, consistency, and a positive kitchen culture.

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen

• Cooking authentic Italian dishes and pizzas during service

• Helping maintain smooth, organised, and efficient service

• Assisting with prep, stock control, ordering, and kitchen organisation

• Training and supporting junior kitchen staff

• Maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and high standards at all times

• Working closely with front of house to deliver a great overall guest experience

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as a Cook

• Solid background in Italian cuisine and pizza-making

• Calm, organised, and reliable under pressure

• A team player with leadership instincts and good communication skills

• Someone who genuinely cares about consistency, quality, and customer experience
