About the Role

The Senior Fashion Designer is responsible for leading the design and development of innovative, commercially successful collections that elevate the CSB brand and strengthen its position within the global activewear market.

This role combines creativity, trend forecasting, technical expertise, and commercial awareness to deliver collections that are both fashion-forward and performance-driven. Working closely with Product Development, Production, Merchandising, Marketing, and Creative teams, the Senior Fashion Designer translates brand strategy and customer insights into compelling product ranges that drive growth and customer loyalty.

As a senior member of the Product team, this role also contributes to the evolution of CSB’s design direction, ensuring consistency, innovation, and excellence across all categories.

Key Responsibilities

• Create innovative, brand-aligned products that balance trend relevance, functionality, and commercial viability
• Ensure all designs align with the CSB brand aesthetic, customer expectations, and growth objectives
• Present concepts and collections to senior stakeholders with confidence and clarity
• Maintain a deep understanding of customer preferences, behaviours, and evolving market demands
• Proactively identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation
• Create detailed design specifications, technical packs, and product documentation
• Review prototypes, samples, and fit sessions to ensure design intent is maintained
• Provide clear feedback and direction to suppliers and manufacturers
• Ensure products meet quality, fit, functionality, and performance standards
• Collaborate with Merchandising and Planning teams to identify opportunities and manage product lifecycle decisions
• Contribute to category growth strategies and long-term product roadmaps
• Support content and campaign teams by providing product storytelling and design rationale
• Foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement
• Contribute to design processes, standards, and ways of working

About You

• Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Textile Design, or related discipline preferred
• Significant experience in activewear design
• Deep understanding of the CSB customer
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and CAD
• Strong technical drawing and specification development capability
• Deep understanding of fabrics, garment construction, fit, grading, and manufacturing processes
• Experience developing technical packs and managing sample development
• Understanding of product lifecycle management systems preferred
• Strong understanding of global fashion, activewear, and lifestyle markets
• Proven track record developing commercially successful collections
• Exceptional creative and conceptual design skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
