Service Technician – Refrigeration

We are a market leading company specialising in Ice machines, beverage dispensers & associated products.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, suitably qualified refrigeration or air-conditioning service technician to join our busy team and carry out service, maintenance & repairs on our products.

Fully equipped vehicle, uniform, & mobile phone provided.

Work on your own two feet - no more climbing in roof spaces or on top of coolrooms!

 Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

·       The main role of the Service Technician is to carry out regular maintenance and service on ice machines under the guidance and direction of the Tech Services Manager. 

·       Responsibilities to include fault diagnosis, repair, preventative maintenance, installation, commissioning, and spare parts.

·       You will also be required to conduct site visits, ensure OHS compliance and work closely with the Tech services area, spare parts, dispatch and sales departments.

·       Assisting the Technical Service Manager with technical support enquires from customer, advising internal sales on correct spare parts, etc..

·       Rostered afterhours technical phone support only. No weekend work!

·       Communicating customer needs and wishes to the Tech Services Department to facilitate customer product satisfaction.

Requirements

·       Experience in servicing Ice Machines will be highly regarded, however model specific training will be provided.

·       Relevant trade qualifications and/or experience

·       Flexible work ethic

·       Strong communication & time management skills 

·       Strong trouble shooting and problem solving skills

·       Enjoy a varied working environment.

·       Relative induction training
